HNDRX Studios is a diasporic storytelling platform built as a weapon against erasure. We place Black culture, in all its depth, fragmentation, movement, and magnitude, at the center of our work. Everything we create begins with the belief that Black stories deserve to be told by the people who live them, not by those who borrow, extract, or profit from them. Our mission is simple and unwavering: Nothing About Us Without Us.

HNDRX was born from the intersection, from a mixed-race kid growing up in Switzerland and navigating identity between continents and cultures. The son of an Angola-born, U.S.-raised father and a Chilean-born, Switzerland-raised mother, I learned early what it means to live in the in-between: never fully reflected by my surroundings, yet deeply shaped by the cultures that taught me how to imagine myself.

African American culture became that mirror. It showed me strength, emotion, rebellion, beauty, and possibility at a time when I rarely saw people who looked like me in real life. It gave me the language to dream. HNDRX Studios extends that lineage, honoring the global impact of Black and Afro-diasporic culture while contributing to its growth.

Our work blends fashion, art, history, and memory. It is rooted in Black and Latino creativity in every form, tracing the threads of a diaspora that is mixed, fluid, evolving, and always in motion. Every collection is an exploration of identity: what we inherit, what we reclaim, what we refuse to let disappear.

HNDRX exists because in the spaces I inhabit like classrooms, studios, institutions, Black presence is often rare. Yet in my world, in my team, and in my vision, Black stories are not peripheral. They are the center, the structure, the pulse. This brand is a place where those stories live, expand, and resist erasure.
